• Wastewater Recycling: The hotel has a biological wastewater treatment plant that was established in 1991. It treats all waste water generated from the rooms and public areas and thereafter the water is reused for watering the plants.
• In-House Desalination: The hotel has a desalination plant with a capacity of 15,000 liters per hour which is used within the hotel.
• Solar Heater: We have installed solar collectors to heat up water in storage tanks, supplying the entire hotel with adequate hot water.
• Community Initiative: The Severin Training and Craftsman Centre offers classes & training courses in electrical, masonry, carpentry and metal work to the youths within the area as part of the CSR activities.
• Recycling / Organic Waste Stations: particularly in the rooms, an incredible initiative to avoid waste.
• Ingredients Locally Grown: most ingredients are from a nearby farm managed by Severin themselves.
