These incredible women, many of whom did not have access to formal education, are brilliant chefs who have mastered Swahili cuisine through knowledge passed down from generation to generation.

In this intimate class, you will learn how to prepare one iconic dish from scratch, such as perfectly folded and spiced samosas. As the aromas fill the air, you will share stories, laughter and conversation, gaining insight into their lives, their traditions and the vibrant spirit of Lamu.
