I created incredible Memories! People are very caring and helping you to have the very best experience. The Nai Nami tour in Nairobi gave me the chance to see the authentic side of the city and to understand the culture and the people. For me it was way better than a normal city tour and I felt 100percent safe at all times. I would definitely recommend!

Led by street boys this tour was an eye-opening and heartwarming experience.

These young guides, who have faced significant challenges in their lives, offered a raw and authentic glimpse into the city they call home.

Their stories were both inspiring and sobering, shedding light on the resilience and strength within their community.

I’ve done the usual Nairobi things — game parks, rooftop bars, the works. This was nothing like that. My guide took me through streets I’d walked past a hundred times and made them feel completely new. He shared his story without holding back, and somewhere between the National Archives and lunch, I realised I wasn’t just sightseeing — I was actually listening, really listening, for the first time in a while. Genuinely one of the best three hours I’ve spent in this city.

Book this before anything else in Nairobi
We almost skipped this because our schedule was packed — so glad we didn’t. Our guide was warm, funny, and completely honest about his past. The tour winds through the city centre, past the National Archives and spots that look ordinary until you hear the stories attached to them. Lunch at a local café was the perfect ending. If you want to actually understand a city rather than just photograph it, this is the one.

Short but worth saying — this tour changed how I see Nairobi. The guide’s story alone was worth every shilling.

We brought our two teenage kids on this tour half-expecting them to be on their phones the whole time. They weren’t. Our guide held everyone’s attention from the first minute — his honesty about life on the streets and how far he’s come had our daughter asking questions the entire walk. As parents, knowing that booking this directly supports these young men and funds community programmes made it feel like more than a tour. It’s the kind of experience you talk about at the dinner table for weeks.
